Dear Friends in Christ,
Welcome to Saint Paul Cathedral, located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood. As Pastor and rector, I am delighted that you have an interest in our parish and the ways we serve thousands of people who come to us each day. We strive to lead all to a deeper love for God, to an encounter with the Living Christ and his Church, and to a vibrant faith.
The Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, under the leadership of Bishop David Zubik. Magnificent and historic, it stands and shines as a beacon of hope. We offer two Masses every weekday and multiple Sunday Masses, along with many other opportunities for prayer and worship. Confessions are available regularly (and any time by appointment).
We are a place of welcome, peace and joy to all who desire to join us. Our parish family is richly diverse, with people of different ages and ethnic backgrounds. It is a special blessing and joy, indeed, to see the thousands and thousands of college students and young adults who come to the Cathedral to worship and grow in their faith.
Browse our website for information about ministries and activities that are part of the life and outreach of Saint Paul Cathedral. Contact us with any questions — if you want to learn more about the Catholic faith, or if you’d like to take a more active part in our life.
Please pray for the work of the Cathedral parish, and its priests, and know that we remember you in our Mass each day.
May God bless you and keep you always close to his loving heart.
Father Kris Stubna
